Laser Hair Removal.
A medical grade diode laser that suits every skin type and most hair types. Six sessions for the body, eight for the face, and for most people that's the end of shaving, waxing and ingrown hairs for years rather than weeks.
Three wavelengths,one device.
The Epilase Ice Tri Wave diode combines three laser wavelengths in a single medical class device and adjusts as your hair changes through the course.
755nm
The widest range of skin types and the finer, lighter hair that other lasers struggle to see.
Alexandrite808nm
The workhorse wavelength. Deep enough for coarse hair, gentle enough for regular treatment.
Diode1064nm
Reaches the deepest and most stubborn embedded hair, and is the safe choice on darker skin.
Nd:YAGThe laser adjusts as you progress. As the hair becomes finer through your course, the settings change with it, which is the part single wavelength machines can't do.
Every area,every price.
Course prices, not per session. Six sessions for body areas and eight for face areas. Split payment options are available.

These are the full course prices. Nothing is added later and there's no per session charge on top. Maintenance after your course is quoted separately.
Patch test,then a course.
Courses are six treatments, except face areas which are eight. The first four are a fortnight apart, then monthly.
Consultation
We discuss which areas you want hair free, check your skin and hair type, and talk through what's realistic for you.
Patch test
We patch test on the day of your consultation. If all is well we start your treatment forty eight hours later.
The course
Six sessions for the body, eight for the face. Fourteen days between the first four, then monthly after that.
Maintenance
Hormones and life change. We plan sensible maintenance intervals with you rather than pretending you'll never need another.
Cooledas it works.
The ice cooling system holds the skin at a constant temperature and the ice cold sapphire tip sits against your skin throughout, which is what makes it comfortable.
- On the day
- Warmth and mild pinkness in the treated area, usually settling within a few hours.
- Day 1 to 3
- Skin may feel slightly sensitive. Keep it cool, moisturised and out of the sun.
- Week 1 to 3
- Treated hairs shed. This looks like regrowth and is not. Don't wax or pluck.
- Between sessions
- Shaving is fine and expected. Waxing, plucking and epilating are not, at any point during the course.
Preparation and aftercareare as important as the treatment.
We look after the treatment itself. Everything either side of it is yours to look after, and it matters more than most people expect.
Before you come
- Don't bleach, pluck or wax the area for two weeks beforehand, and no depilatory creams for one week beforehand.
- Shave the area before your appointment, ideally twenty four hours beforehand, and get the closest shave you can for comfort.
- No sun exposure on the area for two weeks beforehand, and no sunbeds.
- No fake tan of any description, and don't come tanned in the area. We can't treat over it because of the risk of burning. Stop tanning cream two weeks beforehand.
- If you get cold sores you can use Zovirax before your treatment and for a week afterwards.
- Come with clean skin, no lotion, no deodorant on underarms, no makeup on facial areas.
- A patch test is required before your first treatment. This isn't negotiable.
Afterwards
- Redness and swelling like mild sunburn is normal straight afterwards. Iced water in the first few hours reduces any discomfort, and you can carry on with aloe vera gel at home.
- Makeup is fine straight away, unless the skin has blistered.
- Avoid sun exposure for two weeks, to reduce the chance of hyperpigmentation, and use SPF 30 or higher throughout your course.
- Don't pick or scratch the treated skin.
- No hot baths and nothing heat inducing for the first twenty four hours. No sauna, steam room or swimming pool for forty eight hours.
- No exercise for twenty four hours, as heat and sweat irritate freshly treated skin.
- After underarm treatment, use powder rather than deodorant for twenty four hours.
- No other hair removal method, so no waxing, threading, electrolysis or tweezing, for four to six weeks after treatment. Shaving between sessions is fine.
- Between five and nineteen days afterwards the surface hair sheds. This isn't new growth. Wash it away, or use a wet cloth or a loofah.
- Tell us about any change in medication, sun exposure or tanning products between sessions.

Does laser hair removal hurt?
Far less than waxing. The ice cooling system and the ice cold sapphire tip keep the skin at a constant temperature throughout, which makes treatment virtually painless for most people. Most describe it as a warm flick rather than a sting.
How many sessions will I need?
Six for body areas and eight for facial areas. The first four are fourteen days apart, then monthly. For most people that means being hair free in around sixteen weeks.
Will it work on my skin type?
Yes. The Tri Wave combines 755, 808 and 1064 nanometre wavelengths, which covers every skin type including darker skin, where the 1064 wavelength is the safe and effective choice. Grey, white and very fine blonde hair has no pigment for the laser to target, so it's the one thing laser can't treat.
Is it permanent?
It permanently destroys the follicles it treats, and many clients enjoy the results for eight years and beyond. Hormones change through life, so we plan maintenance rather than promise you'll never see another hair. Anyone promising permanent and absolute is overselling it.
Why do I need a patch test?
To check how your skin responds before we treat a whole area. We patch test at your consultation and start your treatment forty eight hours later. We won't skip it, whatever you have had done elsewhere.
Can I shave between sessions?
Yes, and you should. Shaving leaves the follicle intact, which is what the laser needs to find. Waxing, plucking and epilating remove the follicle and will stall your course.
What about ingrown hairs?
They stop. Laser destroys the follicle itself, so there's nothing left to grow inwards. For many clients this is the reason they came, more than the hair removal.
