Laser Tattoo Removal
What is Laser Tattoo Removal?
DPC Laser Tattoo removal is carried out using the latest advanced technology – Q Switch ND YAG. The state-of-the-art laser technology creates pulses of heated energy that penetrates the skin and are absorbed by the tattoo ink. This breaks down the tiny ink particles into minuscule fragments. Over the coming weeks, the body disposes of these fragments through its own immune system. Each removal treatment breaks down more and more of the tattoo ink until none remains.
How long will it take?
It’s important to remember that laser tattoo removal is not an instant fix – it can take multiple sessions spaced at 6 -8 week intervals to gain the desired result. All the tattoo ink can not be shattered and dispersed in a single session. The body also needs the time to be able to flush the tattoo particles out of the system before your next treatment. We would not want to over-treat an area without giving you time to heal. With each treatment, we are able to delve deeper into the ink until the tattoo has been successfully removed.
Each treatment is designed individually for our clients, so please book in for a consultation with one of our removal specialists.
